The standard answer is every three to five years, and it's a good starting point. But the honest answer for Manatee County homes is: it depends on four things you can actually check.
1. Household size vs. tank size
A 1,000-gallon tank serving two retirees and the same tank serving a family of six live entirely different lives. 2. The garbage disposal tax

3. Our soil and water table
